Oil Paintings

To view Tas's oil paintings, it is necessary to look at early work or some of his more recent commissions.

Tas says that his first love, as far as painting mediums are concerned, is oil painting, although there is very little evidence of this in his recent work on view in his studio.

Before becoming a professional artist, he painted a series of realistic oil pictures, using his wife's teddy bears. The bears are in various settings – Poppies at Patching's, Climbing in the Snow, At the Stables and With Musical Instruments. 'Tackle' is an award winning painting.

The series is also available in limited edition prints and as greeting cards.
